Snapped two pics of the inner frame and the canopy. The fiberglass ribs flex nicely instead of snapping when a gust hits. Takes a tiny bit of muscle to push the shaft back down to lock, which is actually reassuring tbh.

Overall really solid quality and keeps the rain off well (see photo). Only giving 4 stars bc pushing the shaft back down to reset the auto-open takes some real effort, though I guess that means the spring is strong.

I grabbed this to keep in my car door pocket for emergencies and already had to use it three times this week. Yes, you do have to push the stem down until it clicks before you can auto-open it again, which is standard for all automatic umbrellas. Will definitely be buying more as stocking stuffers.
